As a continuation to the survey done on 24^th December, 2021 and according to department’s action plan to the AICTE Activity, Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan was conducted on 7^th June, 2022 by 2018^th and 2020^th batch students under the guidance of AE HoD Dr. Deepa M S accompanied by AICTE Activity and NSS coordinator Prof. Hari Krishna S, respective class teachers and mentors. Students along with faculty left the college campus at about 10:30AM and reached the Kuduvathi Village at 10:45AM from June 6^th to 11^th, 2022.Throughout the activity the residents of the village assisted the students and staff.

The students aim was to make the village plastic free. They reached the nooks and corners of the village and picked up all the plastic & glass wastes found around the village. All the garbage was collected in garbage bags provided by the gramapanchayat and was disposed through a van which was arranged by the member of the panchayat.

Students planned with the help of faculty and dispersed across the village and carried on the cleaning of the village till about 4PMall days from June 6^th to 11^th. After all the cleaning done by the students, at the last day they identified few places in the village and planted few saplings which was intended to be part of World Environmental Day. At the end of the activity, the students interacted with the school children to bring awareness on cleanliness, ways to dispose garbage and importance of trees. Awareness on plastic waste was also given to everyone in the school and whatdangers the plastic waste can pose on earth was also discussed. School children interacted with our students very enthusiastically and also shared their thoughts.
